Choreographer's Notes: Many dances of this name followed the
release of the single by Brooks and Dunn, but this dance was
choreographed before Brooks & Dunn ever met. Asleep At The Wheel
first recorded the song (by Kix Brooks) in 1989 and I bought their
tape based on the name of this song. The name "Vancouver Boogie"
started in Los Angeles in 1993 and, since it distinguishes this
dance from all the other "Boot Scootin' Boogie's" which followed,
I didn't object too much. But I prefer it to be called by its
original name.
