Choreographer's note: This is 'country rock' at its driving best. A legacy that was taken up
from the late lameted 'Byrds'. No real tricky step combinations to worry about. Just curl the
boards with the beat.

Dance starts on the vocals with feet together and weight even on both feet

2X BUTTERMILKS-FORWARD HEEL DIG-TOGETHER (12:00)

1-2	Split heels, Heels together
3-4	Dig right heel forward, Step right next to left
5-6	Split heels, Heels together
7-8	Dig left heel forward, Step left next to right

STEP BACKWARD, BACKWARD TOE TOUCH, TOGETHER, STAMP, 1/4 RIGHT MONTEREY, FORWARD STEP LOCK (3:00)

9-10	Step backward onto right, Touch left toe backward
11-12	Step left next to right, Stamp right
13-14	Touch right toe to right side, Turn 1/4 right and step right next to left
15-16	Step forward onto left, Lock right behind left

STEP FORWARD, 1/4 LEFT SIDE ROCK, ROCK, 1/4 RIGHT STEP BACKWARD,
BACKWARD LOCK STEP, 1/4 LEFT SIDE ROCK, ROCK (12:00)

17-18	Step forward onto left, Turn 1/4 left and rock right to right side
19-20	Rock onto left, Turn 1/4 right and step backward onto right
21-22	Lock left across front of right, Step backward onto right
23-24	Turn 1/4 left and rock left to left side, Rock onto right

ROCK BEHIND, ROCK, CHASSE, 1/4 RIGHT ROCK BACKWARD, ROCK, STEP FORWARD, TOGETHER (3:00)

25-26	Cross rock left behind right, Rock onto right
27&28	Step left to left side, step right next to left, step left to left side
29-30	Turn 1/4 right and rock backward onto right, Rock step onto left
31-32	Step forward onto right, Step left next to right and even weight to both feet

DANCE FINISH: The dance will end on count 28 of the 18th wall (facing 3:00) during the music fade
To finish the dance facing the home wall do the following after count 28 -

Turn 1/4 left and step forward onto right, Step left next to right
with (optional) right hand on hat brim and left hand on left hip
