1. Keeping weight on heel of LEFT foot and ball of RIGHT foot, move heels apart and toes together
2. Change weight to ball of LEFT foot and heel of RIGHT foot, move toes apart and heels together
3. Change weight to heel of LEFT foot and ball of RIGHT foot, move heels apart and toes together
NOTE: This is the basic "Chuck Berry" step. You should move across the floor to the right.
Your fourth beat can be a hitch, a kick or some other movement using LEFT foot.

"CHUCK BERRY" LEFT:
1. Keeping weight on ball of LEFT foot and heel of RIGHT foot, move heels apart with toes together
2. Change weight to heel of LEFT foot and ball of RIGHT foot, move heels together and toes apart
3. Change weight to ball of LEFT foot and heel of RIGHT foot, move toes together and heels apart.
You should move across the floor to the LEFT.
