ABRACADABRA
CHOREOGRAPHER: William Sevone (June 7th 2005)
COUNT: 32
TYPE: 4 Wall Line Dance
LEVEL: Advanced Beginner
MUSIC: Abracadabra by Steve Miller Band-127 bpm (Greatest Hits / many 80's compilations)
Feel So Bad by Jackie Edwards-124 bpm
It's Better To Have by Don Covay-129 bpm
Sweet Happiness by Newby & Johnson-133 bpm
You're Ready Now by Frankie Valli-138 bpm
Choreographer's note: This dance is not as easy as it first appears - especially when starting
a new wall...best suited for dancers who have just moved onto the Advanced Beginner section
of the New Levels.
Plenty of scope for added Expression or flavouring within the step combinations.
There are a number of versions of this song by Steve Miller - the album version will be to some,
a tad too long - just fade out the music when it suits..
There are lots of alternative pieces of music that will fit this dance if the choreographed piece
doesn't sit well.
Always remember - 'The beat may reach your feet - but the rhythm should electrify your soul'.
Dance starts on vocals with feet together and weight on left
